REM

One couple. One full weekend. Every year, because of you.

Why REM matters

Partners in the work, not just donors to it.

REM members are leaders, entrepreneurs, and people of faith who believe rest is not a luxury for special needs parents. It's how they keep going.

That steady, yearly commitment lets us plan ahead, say yes to the next couple with confidence, and carry Jordan's House into new cities. And REM members give more than a gift. They open doors, share the story, and stand beside us as this work grows.

There's no dividend and no buyout. Your return is measured in parents who come home restored.

Your gift

A whole weekend of rest, given in full.

REM members fund one full weekend for one couple, every year.

That's $5,000 annually, given all at once or month by month.

Give once a year or monthly, by card, stock, donor-advised fund, IRA, or employer match. See every way to give.

Every detail of their stay

  • Their stay at Ruby Ranch, fully hosted and complimentary
  • Their childcare at home, covered, so they can truly step away
  • Chef-crafted meals, wine tastings, and a cooking class
  • Spa services, chosen just for them
  • The small touches that tell them they were expected

As a REM member

You'll see the rest you give.

  • A personal thank-you after each weekend you fund, with a note from the couple, shared with their permission
  • An invitation to our annual REM evening at Ruby Ranch
  • Named recognition on our site and at our gala, if you'd like it
  • A private yearly impact report
  • A first look as Jordan's House opens in new cities

Ways to give

Give from where your opportunity lives.

Many REM members give from more than their checking account. Every one of these counts toward your REM gift, and we'll walk you through any of them.

Stock and securities

Give appreciated stock directly. You may avoid capital gains tax and deduct the full market value.

Give stock

Donor-advised fund

Recommend a grant from your DAF to Jordan's House, as a single gift or a yearly grant.

Give from your DAF

Employer match

Many companies match their employees' gifts, some dollar for dollar. Your weekend could become two.

Ask about matching

IRA charitable rollover

If you're 70½ or older, you can give directly from your IRA, often without it counting as taxable income.

Give from your IRA

Check or wire

Prefer the traditional way? Mail a check, or email us to arrange a wire transfer.

How it begins

It starts with a conversation.

One

A conversation

A short call or coffee with our founder to hear your story and share ours.

Two

Choose your rhythm

Give once a year or monthly, by card, stock, fund, IRA, or match.

Three

Meet the couple you rest

After their weekend, you'll hear from them, in their own words.

Prefer to begin right away? Start a monthly gift through The Table and let us know it's for REM.

Give the deepest kind of rest.

We'd be honored to have you among the deep rest givers.
